Sarah, there will probably be SOME electronics in it. I do recall at least one glowing red button. The means to do that are pretty simple, though. I probably wont need to requisition you for the parts.

Well, no sculpture or cosplay post tonight. I went out drinking with friends, and just jogged home. Google maps tells me that I just jogged about 2 miles, which i feel especially good about since I am still pretty drunk. I did most of that on a twisted ankle too, which will probably start to hurt ALOT more once I am more sober. Oh well.
@chris: You should start working on the gun and post progress photos!~~ I want to see!

As soon as I have the means to fund such a project.

Have you considered becoming a henchmen for a bad guy? It's a growth market with room for advancement. Plus health benefits.

Today I am taking my first step into the world of dietary supplements to improve my exercise and muscle growth. I am starting with Arginine 5000 and Kre-Alkalyn EFX. These will hopefully help me to get the tree trunk like arms of Chris Redfield. And, they are not steroids, so I hopefully won't experience any testicle shrinkage. Hooray for science!

Good luck with your supplements & routine! Also, thanks for the protein tip -- I've been drinking it after workouts and have definitely noticed an improvement in both the tone & output of my body.
Less than 100 days until Halloween...I'd better get cracking on my own costume if I'm going to do it! I lament that my eyes can't deal with contact lenses...

What would your own costume happen to be? Because your "link" is nothing but lies.

Okay, let's try this again (apparently I forgot my own advice about posting w/BBCode)! Assuming the link clears, I want to be the bad guy from the Princess & the Frog (despite my eyes being the wrong color and my inability to grow substantial facial hair). While I was in Cali, I had been considering commissioning you to make the hat, but you've got your own stuff to work on!

I wish I could grow facial hair. :< There are some good tutorials on youtube for adding have facial hair with nothing more that a pair of scissors and some spirit gum. You use your own hair so it looks very natural. I'll see if I can get the link for you later.

I have been reading some articles and it looks like in order to get the giant biceps I want I need to focus on getting giant triceps. As they get bigger they push the biceps out and are more effective at giving the look of giant arms over all. Well ok, it looks like I need to start doing bench dips!

Hey look! A post that is specifically about cosplay! I whipped up a quick reference image for chris redfield's shirt. I feel that it's a good idea to make a reference image like this for each part of the costume, and better yet to put them on your phone or other mobile device with a good screen. Colors change pretty dramatically when you print something out, so having it to look at in it's native medium is the way to go. Plus, then you are not walking around the clothing store with a binder full of paper. Attachments:

Spent most of the day yesterday shopping for chris redfield costume stuff, and found nothing. I did buy a pair of socks, but that's just because I need some new socks. It had nothing to do with the costume. But I went with a good friend, so at least it was really fun!

So I am feeling pretty awesome right now. I am currently wearing a shirt that i have not worn for a few years because it was too tight around my waist. It now hangs loosely about my waist, and is tight across my chest, shoulders, and arms. It's hard to maintain this level of exercise, but the fact that I can see results really helps keep me going. It has also dramatically increased the amount of time that I spend flexing in front of the mirror before my shower each morning.

So I have been trying to come up with a good way to do chris redfield's main gun that would look cool or funny, but not cause me any problems with con ops. I was tossing around ideas with friends, and Gary come up with a crazy one that I am going to go for. It's always kind of a joke how big the hand cannon is in game, so Gary suggested making one that is huge, cartoonishly so. I am thinking that I will cut the shape out of 2 big pieces of soft foam, put them over a smaller wood frame for support, and cover the whole thing in cloth. It will basically be a giant S&W 500 pillow. I'm not sure why I am on a novelty sized pillow kick lately, but I guess that's how it goes. Attachments:
