Since we're all just meeting each other, maybe we should all take a moment to introduce ourselves. So that we have an idea of who is behind the avatar.
How 'bout it?
Me?
lvl. 2 Anime Nerd lvl. 1 Comic Nerd lvl. 5 Gaming Nerd (On a scale of 5)
Things I bring to the creative table, is a sound grasp of how to apply ridiculousness to logic, and a love of machinery and power tools.

Hi, I'm Robert aka admyr777 I've been a fan of anime for 10 years now, and I started going to conventions since 2007 (ALA). I'm straight out of Los Angeles, and straight out of USC as well (some convenience for Anime Expo . I started cosplaying first at Anime Expo 2008, and ever since I've continued to do so at conventions convenient for me to cosplay at. I get help from my friends to make my outfits, but, as a trade off, I help them make their props since I'm more skilled in the blueprint design and what not of making things that aren't considered clothes. One thing I had in mind, though, was that I hope to give and receive advice in the bettering and improvement of my prop making skills. I 've been to "Cosplay Overdoing It" and "Nerd Courting" and I have enjoyed both panels thoroughly. So I figure yall must be a good bunch of people to talk to about stuff and the like. Nice to meet your acquaintance ;D

It is I, Adam! You may recognize me from such things as Nerd Courting, Cosplay:Overdoing it, Fictonia Entertainment, and the CCRStars. I am the man with the beard. And the plan. The beard-plan. I am the project leader on this whole crazy idea, so if you have any questions about my evil scheme to start a nerd cult and take over the world wacky fun ideas, Nerd Courting, Cosplay, or anything else, feel free to send them my way! -Adam

My name is Charles I have always loved anime because it was more realistic then American cartoons. I wasn’t into the very first series like Astro boy or Speed Racer so i started a bit late I suppose… (art +5) I am a huge fan and of anime art. this is the biggest lure to me. (Figure collecting 4.9) well made, 1/8 pvc are my preference. (Manga +3) I collect manga more then I read it….strange….. (Anime +3.99) I am watching more to level this stat up! (Artist +1.3) I can draw, but it is inconsistent. Must improve (Writing +5) I love to write. I love to create! I would love to do it more but I have a job and responsibilities. I write plot and stories for comics and books. I write character development and edit out of character inconsistencies. (nothing professional….yet) (D&D +2.2) its alright…maybe I just need a new DM (Candy +5) I need sugar after food like a smoker need a cigarette! (Gaming +4.2) I use to play more. Damn responsibilities! (cosplay +3.8) want to do more! (conventions +4) want to do more! Favorite food : Japanese Curry. Salmon sashimi. I am 29 years old and am done with school. @caitlin - What kind of horses do you train? I rode hunter for about 10 years 'till I went to college, I still miss being around them. I don't miss mucking the stalls though ^_^;;
@charles - The frustrating thing with D&D and any game like it is that how much fun you get out of it is very dependent on who you're playing with, and having a great DM is vital. I've played in some really, really fun games! Because of those experiences I still say I love D&D. But when I try running a game myself? Or play in a game run by a friend who sucks as much as I do with making words do what I want.. it gets depressing, everyone gets bored and quits mid-campaign. It's been pretty hit or miss in my experience, but when it's a hit it's great fun =) Gen Con usually has pretty talented story tellers anyway, if you ever go to Indianapolis for some reason...
Edit: Ha whoops, forgot to introduce myself!
Greetings all, I'm Ann. I'm 28 years old, chasing a Master's degree in illustration, and a month ago I dressed up as a My Little Pony. My parents are perplexed but supportive. I'm sort of a casual anime fan these days - most of the time I am too lazy to seek out a new series unless a friend won't shut the hell up about it. I like video games, though I'm behind the times with them as well, and am now finally trying my hand at pc gaming. Team Fortress 2 is addictive and needs to be uninstalled, and I blame J for making us play it. I like trying new pen and paper games, and board games like Settlers of Catan. I talk too much about Gen Con. I like to cosplay to advertise for my fandoms so I usually try to pick a game or series that doesn't get as much love or may have been forgotten in all the glitter of shiney newer titles, in the hope that the costume will be interesting enough that someone will ask what it is from and I can help make new fans. I make run-on sentances, have bad luck with machinery, and may or may not be an unintentional gremlin. Speaking is problematic, so I usually leave the noise making to someone else, like Adam =P

Heylo, I'm Amanda. There's not much to say about me. I draw. A lot. Less than I'd like to but more than I should. I like beautiful places, good friends, and my girl, Kit. (Not a lesbian, just Bi)
I like yaoi, yuri, hentai, gen. XD WHATEVER! If it has good art or a good story, I'll likely look at it/read it/watch it. Equal opportunity pervert, that's what I am. Though my favorite will always be yaoi.
I collect DVDs of all sorts, from action movies to cartoons, romances to sci-fi, horror to musicals (and sometimes both at once!). I'm also a huge fan of Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls and own a few myself.
I don't get much chance these days to watch anime, which is a shame. Being unemployed, you'd think I'd have the time, but it's really hard to watch something with subtitles while drawing.
I like to cosplay. I normally only cosplay characters with glasses, because me and contacts don't do so well, but I hope one day to cosplay Hikaru from Angelic Layer.
As for Fictonia, or CCRStars specifically, I do mainly the fine details in costumes wherever people need me, like hand-stitching, painting, sculpting and such. Details really make the costume. <3 Well.... That was my OLD introduction. Here's the new, relevant information: Hi! My name is Alec and I'm a transman. The rest is pretty much still accurate! HUZZAH!

Hello My name is Genevieve.
I'm 26 years old and work at Disneyland. I over load my brain with dreams and goals. I started to cosplay in middle school and I'm feeling a little burned out by it.
But I really like making costumes and love to share experience the with others.

I'm a medical assistant student and a part time counter girl in a run down resturaunt. I like to draw though not great, I love to dress up and do make up, I started cosplaying in middle school my first cosplay was Inuyasha. (epic fail) I'm 20 x-x I like video games and anime and trading card games, but I often need a kick to get started on things. I get overly excited over stupid things, I'm kinda ditzy and once I start talking x-x it takes me a while to shut up XD

HURRAY GENEVIEVE IS HERE
J Is:
Not my real name.
Old enough to know better than to act the way I do, but still young enough not to care.
Livin' in a fantasy world.
Embarrassingly ticklish.
Musical when drunk.
A man of infinite jest.
An anthropologist of geek culture.
Officially a Writer.
Vegetarian.
Wondering if the Ninja Turtles count as a single Spirit Animal.

Dude I like the group we've got going, we are awesome!
bakeuntilash: Japanese Curry for the win! Yes! But now I want some, crap! D: I've never met any one who works in a crematory before....in fact I don't even think I know any one who know's someone....neat-oh.
Ann: We do hunters and Jumpers! Fortunately I only have to help with the stall mucking during show weeks. xD
@amanda: Yes! A girl after my own (not so secretly) perverted heart. Did you know an Ai no Kusabi remake is in the works? I've seen the trailer and the 8 minute preview. Oh lord, it looks amazing. Skwee! >w<
Tsuki: I get overly excited about stupid things too, hahah xD. And sometimes I get excited for no apparent reason at all. I call it my random rushes of endorphins.

Hola, The names Amanda, but my homies call me Nightwing. Okay...no one calls me that, but i can dream ridiculous things.
I'm swimming pretty shallow when it comes to the pool of anime, so 9/10 times i'll have no idea what you're talking about. I spend about 100 times more money on comics than i do anything anime. I'm a sucker for anything with The Flash on it. And I'm a pretty intense Harry Potter fan. But not like...scary intense.
But in a nutshell, I'm 20, broke, and always down for a good slice of chocolate cake. Oh and i have no idea how to put on an avatar. so it's less "who is behind the avatar", and more, "who's behind that little folder thingamaggiger."

Hmmm... My name is Gary. Half-white, half-japanese. On Chris's scale i would say lvl 1 Comic Nerd lvl 2 Anime Nerd lvl 5 Gaming Nerd lvl 3 Computer Nerd lvl 4 Firearms and Military Knowledge Nerd
I have a basic understanding of how most everyday things work, and thus a lot of my cosplay items look jury-rigged. I have zero sewing capabilities which I would like to fix in the future. I'd also like to learn how to make a HUD irl and develope some metallurgy skills.
That is all.

Hi! I'm Wendy I live in Santa Ana (the ghetto part of Orange County) I found this through the Nerd Courting panel at AX this year, so I'm newww. I've been cosplaying since 2008, and my then-boyfriend go me into anime and video games. For that I will be forever in his debt for opening my mind to this wonderful new subculture. I actually mostly watch anime for new cosplay ideas, so I'm a bit backwards that way. Also, cosplaying helped me decide to major in theatrical costume design, so I also owe it that! I am, however a big bookworm with a borderline unhealthy Harry Potter obsession. I work on/off and volunteer at my local library, so I'm never really out of reading material, and I'm constantly surrounded by a colorful assortment of different kinds of nerds, so I'm also never out of things to watch or play either. ^_^ I also like birds, and frequently wear fake ones in my hair, along with an assortment of other things that shouldn't go in your hair. (Seriously, I made a Katamari once and stuck in on a headband. :3)
