Vacuforming is a technique in which one heats a sheet of polystyrene until it is pliable, places it over a positive mold or object, and uses a vacuum to draw the plastic onto the positive. It is how most of the people you've seen at conventions make their Storm Trooper armor. And here are two plans on how to build them. I think going with the top heated design will work better. Plus it will have a smaller foot print. Let's do this!
