This month, pick 5 songs that would be your Invincibility Star theme! Just for official purposes, the 5 Song Mixtape Rules:1. FINISH THE MIXTAPE.Five songs, no repeats; meaning don’t just copy-paste the same song 5 times (though I expect there to be some overlap between people’s lists). Remixes, covers, and live / acoustic versions are acceptable as well. 2. PROVIDE LINKS.Let us hear what matters to you! Just a couple minutes of rooting around on Google or YouTube should be enough to provide sources for your list. 3. NO PICKING ON ANYONE'S MUSICAL TASTE.I AM SERIOUS ABOUT THIS YOU GUYS. If you don't dig the selection, move on. 4. STICK TO THE THEME.While I’d like to keep the entries within the bounds of whatever the current category is, if you’re absolutely stuck but still want to contribute and whatever you want is out of bounds Rule #1 comes first. If you include explanations of your choices, all the better! Remember guys, try and avoid the obvious for this theme (meaning no actual video game music!) -Ann

Such wonderful nostalgia triggered by all that ska (and the DMC track) I had to share this. And only Elisia could be equally well-described by both the Benny Hill & Psycho themes (and still probably chasing someone while carrying something sharp during both). FYI blkriku, the steel drum version of We Are was surprisingly chill but it doesn’t seem like your #3’s still up -- is this what you wanted? Probably not the full version, but the video almost makes me want to give Naruto another try. Just to make things more difficult on myself, I decided to give each of these their own ‘star’-type icon. Ash | Kung FuUsed in the credits / outtakes from Rumble In The Bronx, it’s only fitting that a song about how rad Jackie Chan is should start with a fight scene. The floating icon for this would be an oversize drinking jug from Drunken Master 2. Inva Mula | The Diva DanceYes, this is technically Leeloo’s Invincibility music (the icon for which I choose to believe is represented by a floating Multi-pass); but thinking about Milla Jovovich grants me temporary invulnerability anyway. Anamanaguchi | AirbrushedThis beam of pure summer vacation is available in a live version as well. Of course, its icon would be a classic Nintendo controller. The Go! Team | Bottle RocketThis icon would be a floating box of Mr. T cereal. Seriously, this is the soundtrack to my Saturday mornings in the ‘80’s. Pogo | BangarangSince I’ve heard Pogo, his music hasn’t really left my constant rotation. The icon for this would be -- what else? -- the Pan sword.

I don't need something sharp. With the Invincibility Star, I touch you and you die.

I imagine that the Invincibility Star for Evie's mix would work like the super attack in the old Michael Jackson Moonwalker game -- any enemies onscreen wouldn't even have a chance to run, they'd just dance to the music until they EXPLODED. Also it took a search for me to realize Lene was the lead singer of Aqua. Talk about a blast from the past!

I imagine my game to be like Jill of the jungle meets wonderland with me ridding a unicorn
