Halloween is almost here! The holiday practically designed with cosplayers in mind! Who else is dressing up, and what're you wearing? When I have more friends gathered in the same area we usually make it a multi-day event filled with bad thriller movie marathons, zombie walks, horror themed board games, and illadvised blow-things-up-with-dry-ice-bombs shenanigans. This year will probably not be that eventful, but I'm still planning to dress up.

I'm being super lazy and wearing a black gown I have and carrying around a raven doll I got at the Tower of London and telling everyone I'm Lenore.

I have no place to go and nothing to do for Halloween. I will likely pig out on candy and pout the whole night. :<

That was a really fun event! I will have to see if I can get some more fictonia people to attend next year. P.S. I just noticed the "RIP S.F.D." on the side of the Mystery Machine in that picture, and suddenly it's WAY more sad.

Oh yeah? Well I just noticed the chainsaws sticking out of the sides, which makes it more RAD.
I went to New York City with friends to take part in their Halloween parade and drink a terrifying amount of alcohol, all while dressed as Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction. It's going to be pretty tough to top this Samhain in future.

I went to Disneyland in the morning, I didn't dress up though, I did the Halloween event there a few weeks back and went as the White Queen from the new Alice in Wonderland. ^__^

I've always wanted to go to Disneyland for Halloween, it sounds like a lot of fun! Some day. The Winchester Mansion cosplay gathering was pretty fun though. It's a shame the house tours are crazy expensive and sell out way before halloween, but the garden tour was still neat. And we got to trick or treat!

Winchester Mystery House charges extra for night tours including Fri the 13th. You're missing nothing except getting a flashlight as a souvenir. It's worth touring once in your lifetime and you don't need to go twice.
