I know we've all had them - well at least I know I do - but is there a cosplay project that has been in your mind that just quite can't be pulled off, at least, for a while?
I know I have a couple:
-The 6 Chaos;Head swords for the female characters (4 are done) -King Kittan from TTGL -The boat from Zelda: The Windwaker
I'm just interested in what everyone else might be dreaming of making, seeing, or are currently in the plans of making.

Oh, I love this question!
I really want to learn how to make armor at some point this year. I want to make Gwendolyn's Valkyrie uniform and Oswald's knight outfit from Odin Sphere. (I love me some Odin Sphere) I also love the concept art versions of Final Fantasy characters, so I'd love to do a couple of those. they're soo colorful and bead-y. O___O
But more realistically, the costumes I have planned for next year's AX are Rydia from FFIV and the Spring Sprite from the Firebird suite in Fantasia 2000. I've only ever seen one other person do her and it was completely different than the idea I had for it. I'm really excited about it!

Odin Sphere is an excellent game to be obsessed with, though I admit that I have yet to properly finish it (damn Oswalt's low defense!). I am absolutely driven to do a No More Heroes cosplay -- perhaps Nathan Copeland from NMH2 if not Travis himself, but being one of the many decapitated henchmen might also be fun..! [EDIT: Links fixed.]

My current dream costume is Rocketbilly Redcadillac from Gungrave O.D. I've been planning on it for years, and it's definitely doable. After that, I don't know. Guts' Berserker armor, maybe?

Currently working on the full HEV suit Gordon Freeman and d0g from the Half-life universe. Past that, I want to work on costumes from our comic.

WOW!!! Haven't been to the forum in a while. I saw all these ideas and plans, and I was like, "MUST....SEE......NNOOOWW!!!" Sorry, all yall got me waaaay too excited for these ideas. Again, I can't wait. As for my plans, I'm still taking some downtime from AX (lazily~.~). I plan to get the juices flowing soon enough though.

Well, here are my current projects, which may change at any given time: Robo from ChronoTrigger - This one is still in the planning stage....all I have so far are a small stack of technical drawings and some material brainstorming. I'm hoping to finish this one sometime 2012...I want it to be EPIC. Super Mutant from the Fallout series - My room mates and I are tentatively planning a Fallout group cosplay for PAX next year. We haven't solidified plans yet, but the challenge of making a Super Mutant costume calls to me. I'd also be helping them with their ghoul and vault dweller costumes, respectively. Monster Chopper, Mark 3 - Yeah, I'm still working on this bad boy. There are only a few things left that I want to fix. I want to redo the antlers again and fix the torso material....maybe something with velcro to make it easier to manage. I also want to fix the legs so they don't droop. After that...well, I think that's it. Maybe add a little more fluff to his chest. I really want to wear him again next year, it's been a while. Fanime, perhaps? Well, that's it for now. Just to let the guys in my area know...over the next few months Dan and I are going to be building a vacuform table, and I'm looking into buying a hand held hot knife (for sculpting foam) and an air brush. Dan's working on expanding his resin casting....so by early next year we'll probably have a cosplay prop maker's paradise in our garage. Now I just need to learn how to sew....
