Aug 8 2012 Received Jack Frost wig and sweatshirt in the mail today, along with a free wig cap and a gift of... a pair of socks?? (Well, they're comfortable, so okay.) The wig hair is very soft and nice, and it fits well, as does the sweatshirt. Needs some serious cutting and styling though - fortunately I haven't lost my hair cutting scissors (or other tools) yet, so I can get started on that whenever. The pants are on their way but won't be received until I'm at my new address. Can't wait to see them. I'll probably order the Amphigory wig and accessories for Axel once it's closer to my move date as well - don't want to anger the household unnecessarily. Things to think about: * How am I making my Jack Frost staff? * How am I making my Axel chakrams?

And speaking of props, I'd like to a get a sword (probably the Royal Deringer) done by one of the next cons. Hate not having props for Dave. At least I can do the timetables easy, just got to find a couple records!

Those both look like really fun costumes. I'm eager to see how those turn out.

Same! Axel was actually the first cosplay I ever wanted to do. It's been years and I never actually did it, because I'm a perfectionist and didn't want to buy the crappy coats they have for him. I'll keep updating with my progress. 8)

All set up in my new apartment with three new wig heads (wearing three now-styled wigs), a large craft table, a pile of fabric, organized cosplay kit, and just bought a sewing machine today. Woop!
